Chronic Venous Insufficiency is a condition where the veins in the legs are unable to pump blood back to the heart efficiently. Over time this causes blood to pool in the lower legs leading to pain, swelling and skin changes.

Symptoms

  • Persistent leg swelling

  • Aching or cramping in the legs

  • Skin darkening or thickening around the ankles

  • Varicose veins

  • Leg ulcers in severe cases

Treatment

CVI is treated at our clinic using advanced minimally invasive procedures including Radiofrequency Ablation, VenaSeal and Varithena to restore healthy blood flow.
