PHLEBITIS
Phlebitis is the inflammation of a vein, most commonly occurring in the legs. There are two types — superficial phlebitis affecting veins near the skin surface, and deep phlebitis which is more serious and requires immediate attention.
Symptoms

Redness and warmth along the vein

Swelling and tenderness

Hard cord-like feeling along the affected vein

Skin discoloration
-
Fever in severe cases
